I've added some more of my handmade resin pendants to Just K Jewellery - as previously these are just the pendants - to be used in your jewellery projects
apart from the purple one they just need you to add a chain, coloured thong or ribbon to make a unique pendant. The purple pendant will need a jump ring to add to your jewellery project

just a quickie...
being realistic...
I was having a rummage in my box of resin & realised just how many pendants I've actually made... and will never get around to using in my own jewellery projects.
It seems sensible to sell them & therefore I'm in the process of sorting through the box. I'm only charging a price to cover my costs - 99p each - although I am charging for postage, unlike my finished jewellery which comes in a gift box & with free postage.
These pendants are all for sale in Just K Jewellery. I'll be adding more on an ongoing process & will also be putting them for sale in my Arty Miss Barter shop & Secret Jewellery on GroovyCart.

and more resin...
I haven't been posting photos of my resin experiments as it must get pretty boring but I thought I'd share just a few of my latest creations
this pendant has four different resin cubes embedded in black resin
I made a mold from a flower that had originally been on a hair slide that I found in a bin of sale items - I've now got a few different coloured resin flowers
This pendant was a mistake, I added the black resin in the middle too soon & it spread too much but I really like the result

I don't want to bore you...
I seem to spend most of every day experimenting with resin & am still totally addicted to it - I think it's the unpredictability that facinates me - you don't know how each item will turn out until the finished piece has finally cured & you release it from the mold. It can be very frustrating to spend 2/3 days working on a piece only to find out that it hasn't worked - BUT when it does it such a feeling of exhilaration & satisfaction. I won't bore you with numerous photos any more...
Jill from GroovyCart has emailed me to say that they are starting an advertising campaign for GroovyCart and are going to use my secret jewellery shop as one of the featured shops. If anyone has considered expanding their little empire then I can't recommend GroovyCart enough AND IT'S FREE!!! You can have a shop with up to 30 items and sell up to 10 items a month for nothing. The site is really easy to use too. I've added the jewellery below to my GroovyCart shop & will be adding more over the next few days.

still playing...
I haven't posted much recently as I'm completely obsessed with resin. It seems to fill all day, every day. My mind is constantly buzzing with ideas - some work, some don't. It takes so long to complete every idea as I have to wait for the resin to cure (set) between stages. The pieces above have taken about three days from beginning to end. I throw away 50% of my experiments, but it's all a learning process. Above I've got a daisy embedded in yellow resin, a yellow butterfly with gold leaf, a turquoise oval with stained glass effect circles, a green butterfly with stained glass effect & a simple green flower with silver dots

Triple strand necklace...
I've spent so much time recently experimenting with resin that I realised I was looking at my jewellery making table longingly & was having withdrawal symptoms from making wired jewellery. SO I made this triple strand necklace over the weekend and have put it on The Secret Jewellery Boutique to stop myself wearing it - if it disappears from the website you'll know I gave in & nabbed it for myself...
