photographing jewellery

I was browsing MISI recently looking for christmas pressies & realised how nice some peoples photos were. Mine were definitely not up to scratch & I needed to "up my game". Sometimes it feels like I spend longer trying to get good photos of the jewellery than it takes to actually make it! I got a selection of wallpaper samples to act as the backgrounds as well as some of our hardback books with nice print and photos. I've spent most of the past week on my knees, camera in hand, in front of the french windows. The photo editing software has been invaluable.

These are just a few examples. I've now started on GroovyCart but there's a lot more stock on that shop to work through...
