ArtSpace

We had a lovely afternoon visiting ArtSpace at the Barn Galleries near Henley on Thames last week.  The sun was shining and while we wandered around the sculpture lawn we were treated to an air display in the skies above us.  A little single seater plane performed loop the loops, turns and twists and heart stopping moments when he climbed vertically into the clouds and then the engine seemed to stop as he plummeted down to earth before swooping off again.
Nick took loads of photos of the sculptures after checking with the organisers that it was OK to do so.  I didn't take notes of the artists so am just going to upload some of the photo's and let them speak for themselves.  I've reduced the photos in size & therefore the resolution isn't as good as the originals - please don't copy the photos, just enjoy them...

Folksy Friday - Morning

I was looking out of the window this morning thinking "what a lovely morning" and decided that was going to be the theme for this week's Folksy Friday

Morning

as usual it's my rather obscure approach to the theme and I've deliberately chosen sellers with fewer sales than some of the other items I could have chosen - except the morning glory necklace from Whimsical Wren coz I just love this necklace and couldn't leave it out...
Pigglies Sunday Morning from Daisies are our Silver

Coffee Morning Invites from Little Bulldog Design

Saturday Morning in the '80s from Cut Out Paper

Morning Sunlight from Kate Boyce
Morning Glory Print from Emele Photography

and finally...
Morning Glory Necklace from Whimsical Wren Jewellery

a statement necklace

I've used three of my resin flowers to make this necklace.
They were for sale until recently in my Beads shop on GroovyCart.  I was looking for something and found them (forgotten I'd made them) and decided to make them into this statement necklace!

new jewellery

I've been keeping myself out of mischief making some beaded jewellery.  Sold a few sets of matching jewellery recently so needed to replenish some stock.
I was asked to make a cream shell bracelet to match a pair of earrings in my Groovycart shop.  I had some of the beads left over so made these items.  These beads are really pretty - photo doesn't really do them justice
I made this pendant with some little resin pebbles that I've put into a silver circle

all this jewellery is available from my GroovyCart shop
