MornieG Jewellery

we recently had a fun competition on MISI when Mo from MornieG Jewellery had us guessing when she would reach 3,000 posts on the forum.  She kept us guessing for a few days with the promise of a pair of earrings for the winner.

I WON

I chose a pair of earrings from the MornieG Jewellery shop on MISI - difficult choice as she uses such pretty handmade artisan lampwork beads by Rob Johnson but eventually decided on some blue ones.

I got them yesterday (after a detour back to the sorting office because I wasn't in when they tried to deliver & needed a signature - why does the collection office at Royal Mail have such daft opening hour - I've digressed!)

I didn't just get the blue earrings but also gorgeous pair of cream coloured ones - they look like they have mother of pearl in the glass

Please find time to visit MornieG Jewellery - you won't be disappointed

MISI Makers

Following on from my first Folksy Friday - and enjoying browsing Folksy for the items to feature - I thought I'd do the same for MISI.  I know quite a few people already do this but it's the first time for me!

I've chosen the theme of SUNSHINE as it's a lovely sunny day.  So I put the word sunshine into search and chose these items from what came up...

from Lilley - these fun little ninja's

from RosyTint this fab Tea Cosy

from Jess this little sunshine flower brooch

and finally
from Little Birdie this sunny bracelet

have a lovely weekend everyone

what a lot of snow...

this was the view from the front bedroom window this morning - very pretty but...

It's been snowing steadily all day - apparently we've got 8 inches - at least that's what Nick said  after going outside with a ruler - I don't know why either!

I decided I wasn't going anywhere so I completed my tax return online & then updated all this years accounts - it was a big pile of paperwork that I'd been studiously avoiding for months.  It was a case of anything rather than doing housework.

I also had a clear out of charms that I'm sure I'll never get round to using - I was going to list them on Karen's Beads - one of my MISI shops - but ended up listing them in batches for 99p on ebay instead.  I'm going to work through my stock of beads and finding tomorrow.  I'll decide whether to list on ebay or MISI when I see what I've got.
