christmas presents for men

I've been adding some stock to my shops with a thought towards original, novelty christmas presents and stocking fillers for the men in our lives. Not meant to be serious or long lived, just something to make them smile on christmas morning.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME...

I started making jewellery for myself a few years ago and soon became totally addicted. I borrowed books from the library and bought lots too.

I discovered resin after going on a silver clay workshop in 2007. Whilst I loved making the pure silver jewellery it was adding colour that interested me. I tried enamelling and might have pursued that direction if I hadn't discovered you could use coloured resin instead of enamel to achieve the effect I was looking for.

Then I bought a book about resin jewellery and as soon as it arrived I knew this was what I wanted to do. I struggled in the early days as there were virtually no supplies or moulds available in the UK. Everything was trial and error - and there were lots of errors. Luckily today both the resin and moulds are more easy to source in the UK.

Since the early days I have developed my techniques and skills. I'm constantly experimenting - "what will this look like in resin" - or making my own moulds from items I find.
