more sweetie pendants

I've added some new sweetie pendants to JKJ on GroovyCart after selling quite a few recently.

I'm also in the process of making some more sweetie and candy sprinkles rings - they should be ready mid-week.

The polo mint keyrings on MISI have proved popular so I am making a new batch - again should be ready to list mid-week

I've also got to write my jewellery making project for Easy Craft Projects - due tomorrow - why do I always leave it to the last minute!!! Got everything ready - just need to knuckle down & do it....

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME...

I started making jewellery for myself a few years ago and soon became totally addicted. I borrowed books from the library and bought lots too.

I discovered resin after going on a silver clay workshop in 2007. Whilst I loved making the pure silver jewellery it was adding colour that interested me. I tried enamelling and might have pursued that direction if I hadn't discovered you could use coloured resin instead of enamel to achieve the effect I was looking for.

Then I bought a book about resin jewellery and as soon as it arrived I knew this was what I wanted to do. I struggled in the early days as there were virtually no supplies or moulds available in the UK. Everything was trial and error - and there were lots of errors. Luckily today both the resin and moulds are more easy to source in the UK.

Since the early days I have developed my techniques and skills. I'm constantly experimenting - "what will this look like in resin" - or making my own moulds from items I find.
