and more resin pendants...

I seem to have neglected this blog recently - had a kidney infection & have now got a cold. It'll be so good when I feel 100% fit again!

I've still been experimenting with resin & have recently added these pendants to Secret Jewellery on GroovyCart and The Secret Jewellery Boutique

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME...

I started making jewellery for myself a few years ago and soon became totally addicted. I borrowed books from the library and bought lots too.

I discovered resin after going on a silver clay workshop in 2007. Whilst I loved making the pure silver jewellery it was adding colour that interested me. I tried enamelling and might have pursued that direction if I hadn't discovered you could use coloured resin instead of enamel to achieve the effect I was looking for.

Then I bought a book about resin jewellery and as soon as it arrived I knew this was what I wanted to do. I struggled in the early days as there were virtually no supplies or moulds available in the UK. Everything was trial and error - and there were lots of errors. Luckily today both the resin and moulds are more easy to source in the UK.

Since the early days I have developed my techniques and skills. I'm constantly experimenting - "what will this look like in resin" - or making my own moulds from items I find.
